Composed of 4 individual boxes, the encompassing bed platform is designed to withstand the full weight of an adult. Each box features either a soft-close drawer, or soft-close chest storage, with a customizable partitioned interior. At the upper corners and hidden beneath the upholstery are two cubbies with an electrical and USB connection, to store away private items and charging devices. The solid wood corners ensure that the piece can take wear without the exposure of cheap materials underneath.

Quality is maximized above all. The bed features top-of-the-line materials and hardware, and the process was slowed down so that every detail could be thoroughly considered. Grain patterns run the length of the boxes for visual continuity, which meant multiple trips to the lumber yard to source and hand pick ash lumber that was both long enough and clear of defects. The wood is finished with an environmentally friendly hardwax, and the upholstery was assembled and sewn by hand. In the process of making the bed alone there is the idea of luxury. The luxury of having time to stop and consider, the luxury of an item that is built entirely by hand, each detail intimately known.
